We are looking for a motivated Assistant/Trainee Brewer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the brewing process, from the preparation of ingredients to the final quality checks. While prior experience is preferred, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the brewing process, including mashing, boiling, and fermentation Measure and prepare raw materials, such as malt, hops, and yeast Operate and maintain brewing equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly Monitor fermentation, take gravity readings, and adjust processes as needed Conduct quality checks throughout the brewing process to ensure consistency and taste Record and document brewing data accurately Perform regular cleaning and sanitation of brewing equipment and work areas Carry out weekend checks to ensure ongoing fermentation and conditioning.
Requirements: Passion for brewing and an eagerness to learn the craft Ability to work evening shifts (Mon-Fri) and weekend checks Previous experience in brewing or a related field is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
